Anne Marie and Pete got married on 16th February 2013 and they could not have picked a better day – what are the chances of a bright sunny day in Manchester in February?! But lo and behold, the skies were blue and the sun shone all day, although admittedly it was a bit chilly! The ceremony was held at St Cuthbert’s Church, Withington where Anne Marie and her father arrived in a fabulous vintage car from Belle Celebrations, Lymm. Anne Marie looked stunning in her wedding dress which was from Berketex Bride. Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the good weather and grabbed some photo opportunities outside the church with family and friends, and of course Anne Marie and Pete enjoying their champers!
The wedding reception was held at the Alma Lodge Hotel, Stockport. Guests enjoyed a celebratory drinks reception in the hotel lobby area which was very cosy with the fires lit. I don’t think I was too popular asking all the guests to venture back outside into the cold for a group photo! The hotel staff and the team from Belle Celebrations had done a great job of decorating the room where the wedding breakfast was held. The royal blue theme was really striking and a stunning wedding cake from the infamous Slattery‘s took pride of place.
Anne Marie and Pete had a fantastic day celebrating with their family and friends and I was delighted to be a part of it. A big congratulations to the lovely couple and all the best for a happy future together!
Wedding Photography in Burnley, Lancashire: Sam and Andrew’s wedding at Lyndhurst House & Towneley Golf Club
When Sam and Andrew decided to tie the knot, they chose to prolong their wedding celebrations, spreading the occasion over two dates! And why not? The big day is usually over so quickly! Sam and Andrew chose to have their ceremony at Lyndhurst House Registry Office, Burnley on January 2nd 2013. They shared the day with close family and friends and after the ceremony, went for a celebratory meal at the Oaks Hotel, Burnley.
On 17th February, Sam and Andrew held a party at Towneley Golf Club, Burnley to celebrate with more family and friends. I met Sam at the house to get some pics of her being pampered. Manchester makeup artist Rachael Bottomley did a fantastic job of Sam’s hair and makeup. Sam’s wedding dress was from Emma Hartley Bridalwear. Despite it being February (and very cold), it was a really bright sunny day so we were able to take advantage of the great outdoors for wedding photos!
Sam, Andrew and the guests had a fantastic couple of days. I really enjoyed being a part of their big days and wish them all the best for a happy future!

When Kim asked me to be a part of their wedding day I was absolutely delighted. Kim and David had decided to have a very intimate wedding with just nine guests. This was going to be such a lovely wedding, just the very closest of family and friends… what wonderful quality time!
Kim and David had chosen the stunning Lakeside Hotel, Newby Bridge in the Lake District for their wedding. Now many hotels and guesthouses in the Lake District boast ‘lakeside’ views or claim ‘lakeside facing’. However the Lakeside Hotel really is what it says… Lake Windermere literally is part of their back garden!
Kim and David must have some luck on their side. I had visited the venue three weeks prior to the wedding and thought to myself ‘wow, what stunning scenery for a wedding’ but of course we are in England, in September… I had to have a plan B just in case it rained (heaven forbid). So I busied myself on that day, running round the hotel finding alternative suitable location for photographs which would still be lovely, but not quite the same as with a lakeside backdrop. Predictably, and much to my disappointment, on Wednesday 12th September, I made my way tentatively up the M6 through the most torrential rain. Visibility was shocking and the journey probably took half an hour more than it should. Miraculously however, as I approached Windermere, the clouds parted and the Lake District was suddenly bathed in glorious sunshine for the afternoon… and it lasted! We were able to take shots of Kim outside in the garden then afterward of all the guests outside and by the lake.
Kim and David’s wedding was a really beautiful intimate occasion. It was a pleasure to be part of their day and I wish them both lots of happiness for the future!
