Beautiful bride Emily gets ready for her wedding near Kirkham, Lancashire
My wonderful friend Emily got married in June this year. Emily finally found that the man of her dreams just happened to be her business partner Noel! I have known Emily since we were eight years old when we started school together. I have many very happy memories with her, from playing with our pet rabbits in junior school, to horse riding together in our teens in winter months and getting warm by her parents’ aga, to the day when she hosted my sweet sixteen birthday party – an exciting camping venture with our very best girl friends!
Only the Emily we all know and love could get away with taking advantage of this year’s leap year – she pulled off the true epitome of girl power by asking Noel to marry her back in February! Much to everyone’s delight, a very chuffed Noel agreed to be her husband and so the planning began. Once again, in true Emily style, she amazed us all by organising the most beautiful wedding in just four months! Emily wore a stunning fairytale dress by Suzanne Neville from Dreamcatcher Bridal, Kirkham which was just perfect for her, not to mention the fabulous Christian Louboutin wedding shoes! The wedding took place at Christ Church, Treales, followed by a spectacular marquee reception complete with the London gospel choir Joyful Soundz at Emily’s father’s farm. Thank you ‘Daddy’ for a hosting such a wonderful day! We were treated to sumptuous canapés and a delicious wedding breakfast courtesy of the excellent Paul Rowley and his team.
I was officially off duty for the day as wedding photographer – it was lovely to be a guest and take in the events of day through my own eyes rather than behind a lens. However, I couldn’t resist taking some photos of Emily and the girls getting ready for the big day and I am so glad I did… she really is the most stunning bride, Noel is a very lucky man! I also managed to sneak a few snaps of the cake cutting and dancing!

Newborn baby photo shoot session in Kirkham – pleased to meet you Lily!
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing newborn baby Lily and gorgeous new mum Tasha. Lily was very lively and alert for the most part – out of the window went the sleeping baby shots then! Instead however, we managed to capture some really cute images which ooze personality even at this early age! She was a pleasure to photograph. Check out some of the pictures from the day.
